Progress so far.........

1st December 2016

Developments at the new Valley Farm Road site are progressing well.  Since the images were taken at the bottom of this news page new kit has been installed.  Yesterday, the second of two Eddy current Separators arrived and a lot of the framework is in place.  Without conveyor belts in place the plant looks a little bit like a roller coaster at the moment, the spaces will soon be filled with belts!

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of AWM’s next phase of development in that we exchanged on a new site called Valley Farm Rd , Stourton on the evening of Friday 17th June 2016.

This transaction took over 2 years of protracted negotiations with its owners and advisors but will offer AWM a facility capable of receiving circa 200,000 tonnes of waste and allow the relocation of our Euroway DMR business from Euroway in Bradford.

The planning allows for unrestricted access unlike some of our existing operations and will take over the next 12 months the majority of our black bag local authority waste and become the key depot in RDF production.

The main buildings offer circa 120,000 sqft inside and 40,000 sqft outside and will accommodate a new MRF production line, Baling and wrapping line, Bulk shredding and landfill residue processing to RDF and the new and increased DMR operations early 2017.
